What's New

• Recording Cloud Backup Service now supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Windows Server 2019 operating systems. (GIR-30211)

• Recording Cloud Backup Service (RCBS) is now using an updated version of the Apache Log4j 2 library (2.17.1), which significantly reduces the size of the logging file. (GIR-31843)

Security Fixes

• This release includes important security fixes related to the Apache Log4j 2 vulnerability (CVE-2021-45105). In particular, the Log4j library included with Recording Cloud Backup Service has been upgraded to version 2.17.1.
