Segments identify and classify visitors based on their behavior and characteristics.
About segments
In Genesys Predictive Engagement aNo results represents a group of customers who share some characteristic or who all behave the same way on your website.
View your segments
- Click Admin.
- Under Altocloud, click Segments.
Tip
Search for a segment by its name or description. Search is case-insensitive.Create a segment
- Click Admin.
- Under Altocloud, click Segments.
- Click Create Segment.
- Use a descriptive name.
- Define at least one visitor or journey attribute.
- Specify the color.
- To make the segment active, leave the Active setting green.
- Click Save and close.
Important
You can specify as many visitor attributes and visitor journey conditions as you want. You must specify at least one.Deactivate a segment
Deactivate a segment when you no longer need it.
- Click Admin.
- Under Altocloud, click Segments.
- Click the name of the segment you want to deactivate.
- Click the Active toggle so it is gray.
- Click Submit.
Important
