Segments identify and classify visitors based on their behavior and characteristics.
About segments
Segments let you identify visitors who have shared characteristics or who behave the same way on your website.
View your segments
- Click Journey > Segments.
Create a segment
- Click Journey > Segments.
- Click Create Segment.
- Use a descriptive name.
- Define at least one visitor attribute or visitor journey.
- Specify the color.
- To make the segment active, leave the Active setting green.
- Click Save and close.
Important
You can specify as many visitor attributes and visitor journey conditions as you want. You must specify at least one.Deactivate a segment
Deactivate a segment when you no longer need it.
- Click Journey > Segments.
- Click the name of the segment you want to deactivate.
- Click the Active toggle so it is gray.
- Click Submit.
