Get started with Altocloud for Genesys Engage on-premises

Genesys Engage premises-based customers should complete these initial tasks in order to use Genesys Predictive Engagement.

Complete the following procedures

  1. Prepare your platform.
  2. Assign permissions to your users.
  3. Learn about Genesys Predictive Engagement's tracking capabilities and how to prepare widgets for Genesys Predictive Engagement. Then update your webpages with the Genesys Predictive Engagement tracking snippet.
  4. Configure Web tracking.
    Tip
    Initially, configure only the allowed domains. Then use Live Now to verify that Genesys Predictive Engagement is tracking events. After basic tracking works, configure the rest of the web tracking settings.
  5. Create segments
  6. Create outcomes.
  7. Build actions.
  8. Build action maps.
  9. Use LiveNow to see customer activity on your website.

Prepare your platform

Assign Altocloud permissions

You manage Altocloud permissions in the Genesys Cloud Admin menu under People & Permissions. For information on how to assign these permissions to your users, see Altocloud permissions overview.
