Genesys strongly recommends to upgrade CXContact along with GWS to maintain security and cross-service compatibility. If CXContact cannot be upgraded for some reasons, GWS provides a backward compatibility mode with downgraded security to support old clients (like CXContact). To enable backward compatibility mode, the following environment variable should be set for all GWS services:{quote}GWS_SECURITY_DISABLE_SESSION_VALIDATION=true{quote}
